NASHVILLE, TN — There's no doubt that Long Beach Island brings out a sense of nostalgia in so many. Rob Snyder, Singer and Songwriter, originally from West Chester, PA recalls his times on LBI in his new single "Jersey."
"My parents met on LBI and it is just home to me. Always has been and always will be," Snyder said. "It is where I first kissed my wife and it’s where a part of my heart and soul will always be. LBI is different from the other shore towns because it is all about the people you spend time with."
Rob moved to Nashville in 2012 at 30 years old with aspirations to become a professional Songwriter.
"I have loved music all my life and began writing songs at 19 years old while attending Villanova University," he told us.
Since his move to Nashville, Snyder has had two publishing deals and is currently signed at 50 Egg Music.
Rob has had cuts with famous Country star Luke Combs, "She Got the Best of Me,” “Dear Today” and Combs latest “Six Feet Apart” about the current pandemic.

Rob Snyder told us about LBI being his inspiration for his song "Jersey."
"Living in Nashville is great, but it is far from the ocean. Most people here go to the beach on the Gulf and that just isn’t the same to me," he said. "I grew up going to Long Beach Island and staying with my grandparents. LBI is a family place and I wrote “Jersey” at a time I was really missing everyone."
Rob also shared with us some of his favorite places on LBI:
"My grandparents house on 78th St., the sunsets!!!, Surfing, fishing, sitting on Big Josh’s deck on 94th street, Sweeney’s Garage, The Chegg, Terrace Tavern (the best happy hour in the world), The VFW, K2 Clam Chowder, & sneaking into the LBTBP gym even though I haven’t lifeguarded in 12 years."
